“We need to get rid of her. She’s a nut!”

Long time since an update…the craziest of times!

London was gr8! Met Mel and Hayley, visited Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, partied at the Walkabout in Swiss Cottage.

Mel, Hayley, and I came back to Geneva and partied some more. Oh yeah, did go to class…took a final on June 29…still haven’t received the results. Started Prof. Singh’s class on Global Information Economy…speakers, reading, discussion.

Went to Heaven and Hell in one week…Heaven is the name of this awesome, swank lounge in Geneve. I felt so classy sipping on a drink while sitting on a red couch. And then…we went to Hell, AKA Amsterdam. Never in my life have I seen so much debauchery in one place…I’m surprised that the city still stands. We arrive on Thursday afternoon (July 5), had Heineken and kebabs, checked into the hotel, went out to see the Red Light District. INCREDIBLE! Pictures will be posted very soon. I also want to say that cramming 6 people into a 2 person hotel room can be quite an adventure, but one that I very much enjoyed!

Friday = The Anne Frank House (where the Frank family hid during the Holocaust), lunch, the Heineken Museum (for 3 hours, TOO MUCH FUN!), sleep, then back out to the Red Light District.

Saturday = Checked out of the hotel at 11am, ate, shopped, canal tour of Amsterdam, ice bar, then out dancing at Zebra Discothèque until 3am Sunday morning before going to the airport to catch our 7am flight. MANY, MANY thanks to Lexi, Mel, Hayles, Mark, and Kalliope for seriously one of the craziest weekends of my life!

I don’t think I’ve ever crammed so much activity and had so little sleep in like a 3 week span. This is the last week of the program, and I think I’m going to Rome this weekend…we’ll have to see about ticket, hostels, and company for the trip. When I came to Europe I hoped that I would have so much fun that I wouldn’t want to leave…mission accomplished!
